Everyone loves Thrifty
We’re an independent and locally-owned optometry practice, proudly caring for the eye health of our wonderful Traralgon and Sale communities in regional Victoria for over 20 years. Making a difference to the country towns we live in is what we’re all about, be it sponsoring the district junior cricket team, the local swimming club or supporting local charities.
As Traralgon and Sale locals, we’re deeply connected to our community and love being able to give back whenever we can.
Meet the Thrifty girls
Business owners Shelley Giles and Kellie Chase met on the job at Thrifty Eyewear in 2004 and a strong friendship was soon forged. Joining forces, they took over the reins of the Traralgon and Sale stores in 2014 and have never looked back. Shelley is a qualified optical dispenser while Kellie is a trained and experienced optical technician and together they lead a team of dedicated and caring eye health professionals.
Just love Thrifty. Kellie and the gang are all very friendly and helpful. Nothing is ever a problem. Great service.
